More updates about starfox64!

No online.

QUOTEThere is also a Battle Mode that supports up to 4 players, through downloadable local play. All four can play using a single cartridge. There is no online mode.

Kinda expected that, as the battle mode wouldn't exactly match the need for online play that games like Mario Kart could benefit from. This is of course an opinion based on if the battle mode is taken straight from the N64 version.

I still want to know what additional appeal this game will have. With OoT, they've included extras alongside the updated graphics, but so far, Star Fox sounds like it'll be exactly like the original with updated graphics. Nothing really new.

Which isn't totally bad at all. And this game looks a hell of a lot better than OoT imo.

And even so, Starfox 64 multiplayer isn't anything to get excited over.

I'm actually kinda glad about no online. I mean... half the fun in Star Fox multiplayer is listening to your opponent's lamentations at your vast superiority! If they were to have had online it would have had to have had some voice chat option just to make it worth it IMHO. XD

Then why not strip online from everything?

While online wouldn't be a greatly appreciated new feature, download & play multiplayer is another story. PLEASE Nintendo, give us download play MULTIPLAYER for Star Fox 64. Each new section could trigger a new download & play "game", but let us play Starfox 64 with our friends with one single cartridge!

You serious?

It was so good facing off against your friends and blasting them going all PEWPEWPEW back on the n64.
It was one of the best multiplayer modes on n64.

It'll be a while before I know 3 other people with 3ds' in my circle.
