ROM Hack Starforce Pegasus AR difficulties

Not entirely certain if this is the right location for this thread. If not, can I request it be moved? This just seems to be the place to fit it best.

So if you know the Starforce series, you know you get stronger through "Brotherbands", a glorified Friend List where your friends give you power. Now, since the Wifi Shutdown of May 20th for DS games, adding new Brothers by Friend Code is likely to be impossible. So, I am trying to resort to Action Replay codes to fake Brothers (have done so successfully in Starforce 3, but this is number 1).

I will post the breakdown of the codes in the next post.
I have seen others claim to have used the codes to create fake Brothers with success, however when I attempt to load even one of these my game will freeze at a black screen after I press Continue. From the breakdown of the codes I post next, can anyone tell me what's going wrong?

So this is it. I'm trying to figure out how to get these to work without freezing my game from the Continue screen.

So I fixed the slot 2 code by encasing it in a Joker/Activation block preventing it from functioning until I press Start+Select. Doesn't seem to work quite how I wanted, but the Brother exists and doesn't freeze my game. However, doing the same for the Slot 3 Brother is still freezing upon Continue even within a Start+Select activation limit. And yes, I disabled the code for the Slot 2 Brother before trying the Slot 3.

It does, I actually resorted to that. I have 2 R4s so I simply made some dummy files with cheated status to Brother with on my second R4 (old ass model, goes with my DS Phat).
