Hacking Stand by gone

I recently soft modded my wii and i have cioscorp, preloader, homebrew channel, neogamma loader installed.

But for some reason, i don't have the stand anymore (guessing it's preloader?)

Help is appreciated, thanks!

Ohhhh ok.....on preloader settings set:

Ignore standby setting: off


and that should do the trick...!!

Did you turn off Wii Connect 24? Check that in the normal Wii settings menu. Personally I prefer standby to be off since it uses less power and since there were rumors about consoles biting the bullet because of standby.

Wii Connect 24 is off. I like standby because I recharge my wii motes, and i don't like leaving the wii on fully when recharging them over night.

Any other suggestions?

With Wii Connect 24 turned off. The Wii will do a FULL shutdown when you power off. It only goes into standby mode, as far as I'm aware, when Wii Connect 24 is enabled.

If you don't want to enable wiiconnect24, could could always spend a couple of bucks on one of these.

I have standby issues too. My channel banners get their standby updates but messages are flaky. I havn't had a blue light for a message (without my Wii actually being on) in a while. What's up with that?
