Hacking SSBB Update - 100% or 15%

I figured I'd make a poll on this, I see topics... but not polls.

has anyone done the 15% trick with the dual layer (without having previously used the single layer) and have it work without any adverse side effects?

I pulled the plug at 15%. I was on 3.1U and WiiKey 1.9g when I did it. No dual channels and my settings still work.

I'm still downloading the DVD9 version so I haven't tested it personally, but people are saying that the DVD9 works on WiiKey if you use the 15% method. You just use the BrickBlocked DVD5 version to load up, and then switch discs to the DVD9 version at the menu (or some other time when you're not loading).

If you didn't use the 15% method then you can load straight up with the DVD9 version with WiiKey apparently.

i 'm downloadng the dvd 9 iso now, will it work on ntscj (wiikey 1.9g + 3.1 j) ?

i have the dvd 5 and it's working fine. i have made 100% upgrade without 15% "pulling trick"
do i burn it X 2.4 with imageburn?

I'm guessing you mean this?
Console: NTSC-J (v3.1J)
Chip: Wiikey 1.9g (you're using the 1.3 config disc)
and a 2.4x + ImgBurn should work, I'd imagine. (that's what I'm planning on trying when it's downloaded).
But yeah, you shouldn't have any problems as long as the burn goes well (DVD+R DL?), especially since you're using a Japanese Wii Console.
