Hacking SSB4 crashes on RxTools

My friend has RX-E 9.2.0 on his o3DS.

He installed SSB4, the DLCs and updates through Freeshop.

For some reason when he starts the game, and chooses any playmode, when the game instructs him to choose a character, it crashes, but only happens in he has the wireless turned on. If he has the wireless turned off, he can play normally.

What can he do to fix it?

Just going to be like everyone and say, switch to Luma. I have a legit purchase so I cannot really say why. For all I know Nintendo is taking action to prevent it being pirated as Pokemon and Smash are their biggest games, but thats probably false.

Try luma, trust me you cannot go wrong. Granted you have A9LH installed.

Stop using RXTools, it's dead
Look for a newer CFW that supports the Reboot patches needs for Monster Hunster, which is basically all of the active ones

simply put the luma files on his sd card and boot into luma using his point of entry like menuhax or homebrew menu

Hey, I fixed it by upgrading his 3DS to Luma and updating the emunand.
