ok currently im living at my school and we all know schools have s### internet so is their anyway to speed things up so i could download and play stuff faster

Probably not, i assume it's throttled for a reason, not to mention a lot of people connecting to the same router at once. While a bit malicious, the most you could do would be to kick everyone off the network with wifikill.

Very much depends on how that school is set up.

My old school had a T3 connection, which basically meant over 1GB up and down, however because it regularly got choked by the ~300-400 terminals across the grounds, they use network management to limit each individual terminal to 10Mb speeds, which was enough for any content students were “supposed” to be looking at.

What the others said. However I will always remember a talk I once heard where someone got dragged in to sort speeds in a hospital I think it was. They had decided coverage was the order of the day and thus had multiple competing "zones" which by virtue of mesh local networking not being an entirely sorted concept tanked the speed. Said consultant literally walked down the hall unplugging every other other router (or maybe more), only to see someone shoot out of a lab and say "what did you do? My speeds just shot through the roof".

Otherwise it is probably going to fall under "techniques you don't want to do somewhere you do care if you get kicked out of or disciplined harshly". Before going too far into that then I should say some schools force things through a proxy (easier way of doing filtering) so if you can get a VPN which bypasses that (might take it being a fancier one that goes over something basic like DNS rather than conventional ports) then that could be a plan.
As well as technical methods though you do have the more personal/social ones. "I am a mighty IT professional/the boss so the rules don't apply to me" is something I have met, had to implement and otherwise felt over the years. Many such people will have their own private method and neglect to lock it down that harshly.
