Hello guys,
I installed Sonic Superstar nsp + updates + DLC. Tested the game and it worked fine. Tried the game at a later time, it wants to connect to the internet before starting. Has anyone come across this issue before? All other games work fine

Try, while in handheld mode, turn on "Airplane" mode, then Dock and/or start the game.

I had no issues installing the game, updates and DLC with DBI, but it won't allow me to start it while in airplane mode... is that a one-time thing or can it bypassed somehow?

Never had any issues with it, but is it supposed to be like online game like diablo 4 or something?

No clue to be honest. I just disabled airplane mode, but did not connect to internet - it won't start. I get this message "Checking whether this game can be played", which fails because I'm not connected to the internet. The same happens to you? My firmware is 16.0.2, for what it's worth.

Anyone knows whether this is normal? Is it a one-time thing?

It means it can't find a ticket for your game, and it's trying to connect to the store to fetch it. I am quite sure it would fail even if you *were* connected unless you own the game.

Use the latest DBI to install the game, it will fix the issue.

I'll try updating my DBI and reinstalling then. Thanks.

I would like to know if it works for you because I suffer from the same problem, and I solve it by installing and uninstalling it to be able to play it, so I would like to know if it works for you so I can try it. .
