Most people who are following it probably know already, but I just found out last night and am really stoked.

Playing on my 70" TV gives me huge headaches if the games aren't 60fps, so this news (coming from the developer) is very exciting.

Here's hoping Donkey Kong and Mario 3D World run at 60fps as well!

Are there any Retro Studios games that don't run at 60 FPS?

I don't follow the stuff that closely so I have no idea. Maybe?

I can't remember for sure but I believe Donkey Kong Country Returns ran at 30 FPS.
Anyway, it's cool, 60 FPS is almost necessary for a fast-paced game such as Sonic.

No offence to Sonic Team, but at that level of detail it's no surprise that the game will run at 60 FPS.

It will, actually. Sonic games can be extremely fast, and having something that fast at 60FPS is much better.

Even though, there is practically nothing that actually displays in 4K, especially for home theater.
