Ok, so I'm no hacker, but I do like to check in on different scenes to know what is going on in them, and I had a thought for this one. Would it be possible to embed code into a photo, have the console run the code, which points to an exploit file (executable?) on a USB, which would, of course, exploit the console. I have dug further and found out that apps are also in a sandbox, but that there also might be a way to elevate a process.
I know it probably wouldn't, but I'm just curious at the moment and have no clue how to embed code, so I couldn't really test it.

no. hacking a xbox 1 is nothing like hacking the psp with a simple picture file with code in it. There's really no reason to hack it anyway. Dev mode is free and gives you legal access to launch homebrew on the system.
