is this really a port or a emulator frontend that tries to look and feel like the NES mini?

is it the same developer?

I can merge both threads.

on the other thread he said he would write his own NES emulator, on this one he said (on reddit) he is currently using Laines.
in both case, it's only a front-end for NES emulator, and not porting NES mini app, or injecting ROMs into the official app.
At least now it can launch games with emulator and arguments.

Strange how that Twitter account was up all that time, but deleted after the, so-called, 'betas' came out. I think I remember seeing that account as over a year old but with nothing posted until whatever this thing is.

Nobody should use that thing, especially if it's an NSP. That could've been a quick ploy to get your Switch certs, a brick, or something. I didn't notice a source code anywhere.
