Maybe if you could add that the red card is actually required despite having so many requirements regardless of the "OoT cart used", that'd be great. There have been many questions asking "So all I need is Sky + OoT rom, do I need the physical Gateway card?"

BigBlueMenu.3ds always crashes my N3DS and leaves me with one of these "Please power off your device"-messages.

Is it possible to use the blue card to play DS games from emunand or will it break something? I'm afraid of the latter so I haven't tried thus far, did anyone?

EDIT: tried it, doesn't start but so far nothing seems messed up.

Not from emunand, must be in sysnand. The blue card is blocked over a certain FW 5.1 or something like that. My search on Time Warp as there is a cia you can install to sysnand to unblock it.
