I've made some swell coasters with Nero before. It's not perfect.

I prefer Alcohol 120%. But if you don't know how to use it, you still can make some swell coasters.

I find Alcohol 120% is fine for making the image, but I actually like ImageBurn for burning myself.

Imageburn or Recordnow and everything will be fine, you dont need any other tools to burn ps2 images

I just use nero 7.9 enhanced
burn using 2.4x speed

DVD+R verbatim and sony dvd+r
made like 20 disks already and all work fine

I've been using ImgBurn at 8x recording speed (half the dvd's maximum.) I've done a dozen games or so without any issues. ImgBurn is great cause it's so simple to use; just pick the speed and burn, nothing else to worry about.

^well the nero stuff can be used for anything
including regular data backup too making video dvd's ect...

Nero is the fastest and best way to go if you have some good blanks like TDK's you can burn at 20x and it will still work perfectly

Another vote for IMGBurn. Does what you need it to without any fuss. Kill all bloatware.

dont know how something can be bloatware when you use most of the software

Nero Burning ROM
Nero Express
^use these both

Nero Vision 4
^use this to make video DVD's

Nero Cover Designer
^ use thos to make or resize cd and dvd covers for cases

Nero Showtime
^sometimes use this when VLC refuses to play the file or has errors when playing it

Nero Record 2
^im not even sure what this does...

Nero BackItUp
^use this to make hard drive backups

Nero SoundTrax
^use this to make and edit music

not to mention you can just control whats gets installed anyway
if you just want the main program burning rom then only select that under custom install

like joe88, I use nero for just about all my needs. however, I'm not too happy with v8 and may revert back to 7. the new software takes a lot longer to load and doesn't really seem to offer anything more.

lol I couldnt even get v8 to work kept getting errors when installing it
so im stuck @ 7.9
but its fine
