I installed 4.2 softmod, some games run smoothly with usb loader gx but some games not, what should I do?

I had a black screen before and installed some ios and it fixed the issue, but I didn't understand the logic yet (I am a noob). Any advice to fix this issue?

edit: I am perfectly fine with other games like Mario, they run smoothly. Only Pikachu's adventure is the problem but I guess there will be trouble with some games in the future too...

If u use modmii to softmod your wii you learn a lot more during the process
Modmii.github.io

Please post a syscheck
https://gbatemp.net/threads/posting-a-system-check.300279/

We can eyeball the syscheck to determine if your mods are optimal and up to date, or you can do the same thing by dragging and dropping your syscheck.csv onto modmii.exe and it will tell you what to do.

If a random game doesn't work but most do, usually the first things to try is switching from ios 249 to 250 for that particular game in the settings (assuming your 249 and 250 are optimal in the first place), or reripping the game as perhaps you have a bad rip.

There may be other game specific solutions, like changing the game language setting to English, or adjusted video mode, or disabling all patches for metafortress games, etc.

Your hbc is running on ios61 instead of 58, and you're missing IOS58. Otherwise cios's are generally fine.

These aren't the cause of your problems, but I'd still recommend correcting it. If u drag and drop your syscheck.csv onto modmii.exe and it will tell you how to do this, as well as a handful of less important recommendations

To get games working u should try what I said above. When u report back you should be sharing the game name (including region), that u tried 249 and 250, and u tried setting language to English, etc so we can properly help u

I drag and drop my csv file, I guess I will use the new setup files for sd and usb, which mii created, finally, I will write if this works or not...

It will fix your hbc so it runs off IOS58 and has usb2 support natively from within the hbc. But it will not impact the issue you're reporting of some games not loading via your USB loader. Your cios249 and 250 are already optimal, modmii won't touch these.

bro I really respect your help, one more question from a noob, there are some settings:
cios: v10 beta53
cios base: 56
cios slot: 249
cios revesion: 21010

I saw the settings from a youtube guy, should I change mine?
I had made these settings before, I will change them again but is this dangerous? Do you know any stable settings?

I tried this today, still now working, I understand which game will boot because as soon as I choose the game, the intro screen is coming, with the other games, I can't see the intro so the game also doesn't run, by the way, my system is 4.2E.

Sounds like it could be a bad rip if you're not even seeing the banner animation.

Btw u still haven't provided the information I asked you to. Add trying a fresh rip of the game to the list.

It's quite annoying actually, what region is the game? Have u tried changing ios to 250? Have u tried setting the language to English? Have u tried adjusting video mode options? I shouldn't have to ask 3 times for u to provide info so I can help u.

I hope u get it working. If u don't, I personally will not be responding anymore to this thread UNLESS all my questions have been answered. If others want to continue to help u while u ignore what's been said so far then they have more patience for your shinanigans than I.

New Super Mario Bros - NTSC U:
all settings: global default
this game works flawlessly

Pokepark Pikachu's Adventure - NTSC U:
changed to iso 250... didn't work (also 249 didn't work)
changed language to English ... didn't work
changed resolution: didn't work

now I doubt the folder name structure, maybe the Pokemon's game folder name is wrong, but the file name is R8AE01.wbfs which I am sure is correct.

Hello,

you use the US version, try the PAL (EUR) version instead, I think you will have more success. With the PAL version, you have the German language.

R8AP01 - PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure ==>https://www.gametdb.com/Wii/R8AP01

The latest news: I used Wii backup manager, found the iso, and converted it to wbfs, now it is working. I am suspicious about the folder name structure, thanks boss for your support :yaysp:
