Hacking SoftMii and NAND Backup Question

I was going to install softmii on 4.0. Is there anything I should be scared of? I have cISO v9, HBC, and preloader installed.

I read somewhere that I should make a NAND backup of the Wii before I install softMii... is that correct?

If so, how do I restore a NAND? I have an applation to dump a NAND, but if something goes wrong, how do I restore a NAND? Also, if there is a way to restore a NAND, when should I consider a system restore, when I have a full brick?

Also, what will a NAND backup restore? Everything? Would all my channels/HBC and CIOS's be there after a restore?

if you totally brick, you will be able to restore with a infectus modchip

softmii is probably gonna downgrade you to 3.2 unless they updated it now

either way dude, you dont need to install the entire softmii if you wanna play backups from the disc channel just install CORPCIOS

and you can still use the cinstaller (aka SoftMii Tweak) to install themes
