So from what ive read on here, installing 3DS titles is NOT as simple as just downloading a CIA file from the web and installing it with FBI?

If you have Luma3DS and B9S installed, then yes, it should be that simple.

If you're running Luma3DS, then the CIA file doesn't have to be legit.

It's exactly that simple. An even simpler way of downloading games is by using freeshop (there's a guide in the first post of 3ds noob paradise for setting it up.

The guide I talked about earlier is basically a piracy guide and it's been up forever so definitely nothing "strict" about it.
