I'm having great difficulty streaming video from my n2DS XL with Snickerstream, lately. After months of having no problems, the frame rate has recently been extremely jumpy. It'll be fine at 40-50 fps for a little while, then crash to 0-10 fps for several seconds, until stabilizing again. I'm unaware of any recent changes that might have affected this. I'm using NTR CFW to stream the video, if that matters. Do you have a suggestion on how to improve the frame rate stability?
My guess is that the problem is with Snickerstream. I have a wireless router a couple feet from where I use the n2DS to stream the video. It connects to the router easily enough, but with poor frame rate. I don't think the problem is with the router or settings for two reasons. First, none of the other wireless devices I've connected to the router have had any difficulty accessing the internet, including streaming via a PS4. Second, even when I disable every other wireless device in the home, Snickerstream still has a bad frame rate, so I'm pretty sure it's not a bandwidth issue with the router.
As far as Snickerstream goes, I thought that if I lowered the graphical settings that perhaps it might improve the frame rate. I brought them down as low as I can without significantly recducing the video quality, to no avail. Any lower, and the video quality would be unacceptably low, even if the frame rate were more stable.
Thanks for your help.
EDIT: If it matters, the specific game I'm playing is Ocarina of Time 3D. I do use the NFC patch to enable the streaming in the first place. However, I also tried it with Bravely Default, which gave me the same frame rate loss problem, so I don't think the problem is specific to the game.
