Snes Classic Question (Longer USB Cable)

does anyone know what micro usb cable to buy to power this? I'm using hakchi with a usb adapter. a direct connection is a red screen, and through the adapter, I get a black screen. I've tried both a usb extension cable and a longer micro usb cable. there's no problem with the original cable and the adapter.

10ft works? my concern is that I've bought 2 cables so far, and neither has worked.

I'm not sure what the transfer speed of the official cable is, so I don't know what to look for. could the length of the cable have something to do with it? both cables I tried were 15ft.
