Miracles dont work, acitvate everything and nothing listed.
the same with items - essence - put every essence on 1 and nothing added to inventory
I was able to edit my save file using the new Aogami but when I upload it back to my switch, the changes did not reflect..
Oh my

@Wikibenj What did you try to edit in your save? I can take a look

@PrimroseAzelhart Data for Miracles and essence might not work properly due to the new stuff added in vengeance. Sorry about that. Will update those values when info on those values are sufficiently updated

I can't even get the new aogami to open. Your original smt v vengeance save editor opens but the new aogami doesn't.

@angrynewraze Is it giving out an error message? If it is could you post it here or in the github issues :https://github.com/zmbkilla/Aogami/issues
if you look at the attached picture it shows what opens and what does not open. And no it doesn't give me any error at all. It just refuses to open at all. And the thing that does open is the original save editor you made for smt v-v so it doesn't have the level editor like aogami did.

I downloaded my SMTV Vengeance save file from my Switch to my laptop and edited it with your new Aogami save editor. After uploading it back to my Switch, I didn’t see any changes.

To test further, I did the same with the original SMTV game using your old Aogami save editor and maxed everything out. When I uploaded it back to my Switch, it worked. But that’s the old SMTV not Vengeance.. 😩

try with the save editor that in this picture I said it does open that one seems to have things sticking in vengeance. I used it with my ps4 save and it did indeed stick. Both @zmbkilla's original smt v-v save editor and the new aogami are in the same folder

This is just a fork from Aogami. Im still figuring out how the editor saves any edits to the file. Just to be sure, Can you tell me what you did step by step? From how you loaded your save, what you edited, and which option you chose when saving(save changes, export decrypted)

@angrynewraze You used version 6/25/24-4 right? could you try isolating the files by placing them in their own folder then running the program? Currently compiling my current build which should hopefully fix stats

I'm more curious how he got aogami to even open since I can't even get that to happen. For me it just acts like it's going to open but then just force closes the process before even opening the gui. Yeah I'm using the version from 6/25/2024-4. I don't know what files to put into a separate folder.

Updated releases. Hopefully should fix the edits not being saved (tested by editing Demon and stats)

I used JKSV to back up my saves, then downloaded the save file to my laptop. I opened your new save editor and loaded the save file.

Bu the way your new editor says it’s loading a new Shin Megami Tensei V save file. No vengeance included.

It still went through, When the program asked if my file was decrypted, I selected "no." The program correctly loaded my save file, displaying my game name and current party roster.

I then tried maxing out macca, glory, and items, and saved the changes. I also tried exporting decrypted data.
After uploading the edited save files back to my Switch using JKSV and loading the game, no changes were made. 😬

You have to re-encrypt it. either save using the [Save changes button] or use the SMTV.saveutil fork I made to encrypt the save

same thing doesn't open at all.
Just to be sure, Did you try installing this beforehand? https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet/thank-you/runtime-desktop-6.0.0-windows-x64-installer
it may fix the issue you are having

I already have dot net runtime 6.0.0 installed from another save editor I used that required it.
same here! I tried to open the save editor last night and it just wouldn't. also have the required .net program installed (even uninstalled and reinstalled it to be sure)

Wow. Ok gonna try running Aogami under Windows Sandbox. Hopefully will be able to replicate the problem through that so I can figure out whats going on :|

Ok what is going on :hateit:

Installed runtime 6.0.31
I can't think of anything else that could be conflicting.

Only thing I can think of now is going to Event viewer and searching for any information that pops up. If you guys could, would you check on your end. It works on mine so there would be no information related to your problem

I'll try installing dot net 6.0.31 and see if that works. I only have 6.0.0 installed and nothing above that

I’m lost on the re-encrypt part. 😅 I followed your steps in re-encrypting the save file. But in powershell, it’s asking me to update the .net thing. I have the latest version of .net

Apparently 6.0.0 is no longer the latest dot net version. Try dot net 6.0.31

Yeah I tried that too,
And version 7
Until ver 8

Still the same error. It’s still asking me to update .NET
I didn't even know they had released anything above 8. Follow that first link in your cmd to download dot net core 10 to get the missing framework
