A subset of smilies have syntax reminiscent of classic text message smilies, however, most of them only support the ‘noseless’ variant (with the exception of the sunglasses smiley, which is the other way around). Would it be possible to add aliases to these smilies so that both syntaxes are accepted?
 
Unfortunately this has some side effects for B). It requires the usage of [PLAIN][/PLAIN] environment when putting information in parentheses to prevent ridiculous results.

Good catch. I think I'll remove support for B) in this case.
