Gaming Smash or Pokemon?

Well, a friend just bought his 3DS and he can't choose between buying Smash 4 or Pokemon Omega Ruby. I'm saying that he should buy Smash, but another friend is saying that he should buy the Pokemon game.

What should he buy? Why?

ORAS. Smash is fun, but Pokemon is just so funnerish. But its his decision. I would choose pokehmon doe.

I'd say Smash. Don't get me wrong, ORAS is an amazing game, by far my favorite in the Pokemon franchise, but after the main game is over and you've done some online battles, it just stops being fun. I've played it for 116 hours, and I don't think I'll be playing it much longer than that. I've played 200 hours of Smash, and its still incredibly fun. Its my favorite game, and arguably the best game on the 3DS.

Id say pokemon was probably the best choice. Smash is great and all but the lag in the 3ds version really kills the multiplayer, and the singleplayer is pretty meh

He has played Smash (solo and online) and well... he bought Pokemon and that's it.
