Well, today I played for the first time Final Fantasy Explorers online with 3 other people, and all was like in slow motion.

I would like to know if any other user with o3ds has this same problem or is just a slow internet connection.

Happens to me even on New 3DS. Not sure if it happens in single player, only played multi player, but you're definitely not alone. From the times it has happened to me though, I haven't been able to isolate whether it's frames dropping or if it's latency compensation.

Then, I wonder if it will get any better on local connection

I have yet to play it multiplayer but single player it runs perfectly fine.I have seen allot of people complaining about poor netcoding though so you're not alone

yeah slowmo like that seems to be bad net conenction, you get the same thing in triforce heroes if some is still at dialup level lol
I am using google's dns because the ones of my isp makes the game to through connection related errors, so I wasn't sure if the problem were the connection or the game itself

Neither. It's the game compensating for the latency between the players. Basically, it could do slow motion, or it could just let you continue client side then sync everything up later which would make it look like when an MMO lags, and things would start jumping around.

not sure the exact issue. it seems that when playing online with friends the host gets more slow down.
the game should not slow down to compensate for connection lag. I dont want to here it has to. Phantasy star online on dc/gc did not and it worked fine with 56k. yeah older game but still it did not slow down the game. the noob that was laggin just skipped around

Frames drop bad in multiplayer. It's not latency between users. The netcode doesn't require everyone be synced up at the same time so it doesn't go to crap like TFH did.
