Hacking Sky3DS - Pokémon OR/AS - Random crashes

Hello everyone,
just got my Sky3DS (Blue button) and am experiencing major issues. Generally after fights, my game crashes. The black screen stays until I do a hard reset. The rom is a .3dz EUR one and my SD card a kingston one with 16GB.
Does anyone know what do to do to solve the issue?

I read that a constant wifi connection might be the issue. Mine is always on, so I will just turn it off for a while to see if it works. Pretty weird since the crashes happen once in about 2-3 hours.

Did you cut your rom before burning it onto the Sky3DS?

same thing happening to me. my ds freezes after a battle on the black screen
