origins was a portable game for the psp, eventually ported to the ps2
shattered memories wasnt really a silent hill game to me, it was short and just not that good/up to par with other games in the series and general gameplay

I got through SH3 on the first play in under 3 hours, so I guess that one (if any) would be a "mini" in my opinion. I also felt that Shattered Memories was superior in nearly every way to The Room, as SH4 was the one for me that didn't feel at all like a SH game.

looks like the game gets really bad. Shattered Memories was, after 2 stupid sequels, a welcome new way of telling a creepy story, but this...looks more like a resident evil mock off.

If the graphics in this preview are for PS3 and X360, then i'll shit brix. If they plan to release a game on PS3 with this kind of graphics, it wont be a survival horror anymore, but a danged comedy.
Its obviously for portable consoles, possibly 3DS, maybe PSP.

I'm not saying that, it's only that BIG games as Silent Hill wouldn't make such a crappy games for BIG consoles.
But yeah, IF they are making that kind of stuff for PS3, they must be really desperate. BUT REALLY.

So you're just ignoring Shattered Memories then? Also lol do you even know what you're talking about? Where does it state that only high end graphically superior games can be made for PS3? Please point that out for me.

Shattered memories was ported, and im not talking about Wii or PS2, i'm talking about PS3 and exclusive games for it.
Silent Hill, the games up to the fourth installment of the series, always were superior. So why make a graphical inferior game on big console like PS3 or X360 when you can make a graphical superior game on those consoles, make a bunch of dozens of money, and then port them to other consoles, making them looking graphical inferior, like they did until now.

And i'm not trying to start a fight here man, i only said my opinion gathered from what i saw in the trailer.
And yes, even PS2 doesnt have such squared heads as this guy in the trailer had.
