Is it better to keep the wii's firmware at 2.2? I will be getting my wiikey installed soon and want to play backups without any troubles.

just run the 1.2 wiikey config disc first then u can update without any problems. the update however wont allow the 1.2 config disc to work anymore.

Thats why you get the updated 1.2b disc, which gets around that... its on here somewhere.

Yeah it is on here somewhere, but someone said that had a virus on it. (no, im not saying a wii virus, but a computer one) It was probably fake though.

Thats why you get the updated 1.2b disc, which gets around that... its on here somewhere.

its 1.9b wiikey upgrade disc and the one from eurasia worked fine.

there have been 10 different other discs made after that virus one.
