Gaming Shiren the Wanderer Help

I have completed Shiren before, so I thought I would run through it again, I am at floor 21 but there is no exit stairs.

Has anyone else experience this problem?
If so how did you fix it?

I've never had that happen ... don't you have an escape item?

Nope, I wasnt aware Shiren had escape items.

I have explored every inch of the map for floor 21, it is complety empty. Except for some traps.

Bizarre ... I knew the dungeons were randomly generated ... but not that randomly generated lol
