I have a 4.3 wii that was freezing on a game Modern warfare at the end of a level,My intention was to update this using ModMii and get wiiflow on it,it had cofig loader and uloader on it,i went to uninstall priiloader and it said it couldnt find the system menu or something to that effect and cancelled the operation, now the wii starts in priiloader and i can get to homebrew,it fails to load system menu,i ran modmii and got a system menu and all the necessary wads to load games via wiiflow and ran that on the wii thinking it would give me back a system menu but it has'nt,i still start in priiloader and can still get to homebrew but no system menu, there are no hacks enabled,is there any way to get the system menu back.

I apologise for not using the spoiler tag
I uninstalled priiloader and restarted the wii
Then the older priiloader came up
IOSv80
Systemmenu v514 priiloader v0.5(r99)
Tried booting system menu and got
error autobooting systemmenu
could not open boot file
I put the v5 priiloader installer back on the sdcard and tried to uninstall it and i got priiloader could not be found

Now THAT is messed up. Download 4.3E with ModMii and install it. That should remove all traces of Priiloader.

Im not a pro on this but I modded a lot of wiis so far and had never bricked one so far so dont flame me if I say something stupid

why cant you just re-mod your wii if you can still boot priiloader and HB channel by reinstalling the system menu then reinstall priiloader ?
also I would suggest you to install system menu 4.1 over the 4.3
4.3 has no advantages over 4.1 it just has added security over hacking and homebrew removal
also if for any reason your Wii one day gets fully bricked on 4.1 u can recover it by installing a higher system menu like 4.3 found on some newer games like Metroid Other M using the GC gamepad trick to enter recovery mode

Dude, lay off the shrooms... that made no sense.

@OP, I would think that reinstalling the system menu and the system menu IOS (just in case) should fix it... if not, though, do you have a NAND backup from when you first modded your Wii? Worse case scenario, you could always ship it out to DeadlyFoez and have him re-flash your nand with your backup.

What he said in English is :
You can't use 4.1 or it will brick but you can hack your wii to use it if you have to . Sell the first wii cheap by going to an ally 10 miles away from & telling them that you are homeless & sell it for 60$ . Then buy a new wii and send it to me as I am the guy who gets all the wii hacks first as most peoples are retards who cant add 1+1 but I know its 2 . SO go get a new wii & make sure you have the reciet to return it to the store before you hack it .

Thats what I could get from his post . The guy basically is braging first with meaningless shit then trying to scam someone dumber than him (I doubt someone like that exist) to send him his wii to hack .

ohhh... I see. Makes (somewhat) sense now... or... no, not really.. Sorry wii-dog.

Anyway, to actually contribute something to the topic. As others have already said, try remodding it from scratch (apart from the initial exploit, since you still got HBC). Id recommend using ModMii to get all the correct files you need :)
