I thought the last Hulk game was really good. Had the same feel as Ultimate Destruction. Thor is my wife's favorite Marvel character, so she's really looking forward to the movie. The game looks like it might be decent on the higher end consoles. Not too big on movie tie-ins for handhelds. I think the only one I have is Alice in Wonderland on DS, and its barely a tie-in at all. (Which is probably why it isn't half bad. The Wii version may have been more of a direct tie-in, but it wasn't bad either.)

C) What I don't get even more is why companies go to SEGA to make the movie based games :/
Sega is a big name and have the cash. Its not about quality for those who license stuff out.

It's not that the game is a shitty movie tie-in, but that it's being removed from the PSP's list of games. This will surely be happening more and more in the future.

Aren't High voltage doing this one? I thought their Iron Man 2 wasn't too bad on PSP/Wii it wasn't good it was just...not awful.

Sega haven't really been that great with the Marvel films, I miss the days when Capcom handled Marvel stuff and we had amazing stuff like The Punisher.
Sorry, but I just HAD to fix that (along with the lack of apostrophes).

i think these kind of switches puts more momentum on the argument tht nintendo handhelds are better than PSP... the switch was too obvious and may anger sony i believe

It's probably more along the lines of them not wanting to hire a developer that can work with the PSP, because it'll be cheaper just to port the DS version over to the 3DS with all the touch screen gimmicks instead of trying to think of a way to make it playable on the PSP.

Sure, almost every single game that came out from SEGA sucks. Well anime games will always sell high, even anime that are punlished in the USA.

That was quite random and makes very little sense.

Sega publishes some great games. They don't push nearly as much shovelware as Activision or Ubisoft. And why are we talking about anime games?

That all you have to say right their.

That also a possibility...

Wait wait wait wait... You tried to refute his logic by just replacing what's probably actually true with fanboyish garbage? That's just so... illogical.

Fact is they probably ported it for one of these reasons...

1) As Law said, it's easier to port the DS version instead of making a new game for the PSP. Just make a port of the DS version to the 3DS with some slightly upped graphics and maybe some 3D tack ons and tah-dah. Cheap cash-in.
2) The 3DS is a new system. The more games you get out for it the more probability people will buy it.

And in the end, who gives a shit? It's, at most, a mediocre game. I don't think I'll be crying my eyes out that the PSP missed out on such a bland game. Hell I wouldn't even be remotely upset if they canned all versions of the game.

You say that as though you wouldn't expect a movie cash-in game on the DS to have a touch screen gimmick.

You know, the touch screen? One of the main selling points of the DS?

edit: Oh, if you're wondering: I'm not saying the touch screen is bad, just the way most lazy developers use it.

It seem like you were calling the touch screen it self a gimmick not how the game would used it as a gimmick, but alright...
