The mention of Wata Games makes all my "fake news" alarms go off, but at least this one seems to be more realistically priced than some of the games they've graded. This could be faked, I really can't say. This is just the risk you take with shipping valuables in the mail, I hope and assume that the package was insured. Actually, this could very well be insurance fraud, they could've destroyed it on purpose to get the estimated value reimbursed rather than have to test the estimated value in the market. Maybe they didn't think they would actually get that much for it. If it is legit, then it doesn't seem like it could've been an accident, this looks like it was done maliciously. Not the kind of damage you get from a package being roughly handled or dropped. That makes me a bit suspicious of it being real, what do employees of the postal service and customs have to gain from opening random packages and destroying the contents? It's not a common occurrence. I wonder, was this shipped through the eBay Global Shipping Program by any chance? The damage is consistent with the damage Pitney Bowes often inflicts. They'll just slice stuff open haphazardly with zero regard for the value of the box or the integrity of its contents. I myself had a Steam Controller that went through eBay Global Shipping and arrived with a damaged, sliced box. Amazon uses Pitney Bowes a lot too, but I haven't experienced any similar damage with them.
, The Wii U gamepads are tied to the console's region, so its impossible to find a cheap gamepad that supports your model.

Unless you modify your system, of course, and remove the region check.
