Hacking SDHC formatted as NTFS issues

I've been having problems backing up my brawl ISO using clean rip, it always splits it up. So I heard that to get past this you can format your SD card as NTFS. now my wii will give me an error message when i try to check the card. something along the lines of "this card is incompatible" do you have any ideas on how to get around this?

CleanRip's NTFS support is broken I think. You can just join the pieces together again on your PC after it's done ripping.
