Hacking SD card help

Ok so my brother put my 1gig sandisk into my wii and formatted it and now my computer wont load it up keeps telling me to insert into the comp. all i want to do is format it back to fat. Is there any way i can do this on Windows XP?

I once had this trouble with an official Wii dunno what brand, and it doesn't get well attached in the SD port of the PC, so I had to insert the card but not till the end (when it gets locked) cause it will appear as you say, try that and format back again...!!

I forgot to mention that it was formatted with SDUSB loader

Oh then just give right click and FORMAT, it should work, well at least in my PC with XP it tells me it doesn't have a format and if I want to format it, I press YES and voilà..!!
