I'm sharing with you my sys-botbase Python-Script that I use to soft reset my starter to get a shiny one.
The script basically just soft resets the game and brings you to the first battle when you can see if your starter is shiny.
Sadly the script does not automatically check if the Pokemon is shiny, so you have to press Enter if the Pokemon is not shiny.
If someone knows the memory address to check if the Pokemon is shiny feel free to add this to the script.
You need to have Atmosphère and the sys-botbase module installed on your switch.
(The script is configured to reset for Chimchar)
To run the script, do the following:
1. Enter the IP Address of your Switch into the Script
2. Start your game and make sure you are standing right in front of the entrance to the lake that you get your starter at
3. Run the script using "python3 shinyResetMacro.py"
4. Press Enter to start the first loop
To exit the script you can just close the terminal window or hit CTRL + C.
