So, i'm on a chromebook and within the nca files there is a file called 00. any attempt to open this just downloads it to the computer. The one i was trying to open is 1.1gb and the file's name is just file.

I originally thought this was a save file, but it's much too big.

To be able to edit, backup, and inject saves. You gotta extract them with either checkpoint or jksv

The files on your SD card inside the Nintendo folder aren't saves. Save data cannot be stored on the SD card. Its stated on their website.

Where is game save data stored?​

On Nintendo Switch, game save data is stored on the console’s System Memory. This will not change whether downloadable software or software from a game card is being played.

Game save data cannot be saved or copied to a microSD card.
