Hacking Save file Help!

Hey. I've had my acekard for a while now, and i got the pokemon soulsilver rom as soon as i could, and obviously there was problems with it.

I got about halfway through the game, and it freezes at one particular point, so i downloaded a better version of the game. But i couldn't work out if i could use my old save file for the new version of the game or not.

Does anyone know if this is possible, and if so, can you please help me?

It may be because of filename that have below 8 characters would be changed to upper case file extension problem. Check save file extension that changed to upper case or not. Change it to lower case from .SAV -> .sav would fix for this cause.

Better version? AKAIO can run Pokemon SoulSilver clean with no issues. Make sure you're using AKAIO 1.7.1. Then if the problem remains check the save extension, make sure its *.sav.

yes it is possible but the file names need to be the same if I am correct. so the .sav file must have the same filename as the rom file.
