Satellites with lights in the sky?

Here's a photo I took:

There were also a lot more above me and it looked like they had "dots" to connect them (checked it out with binoculars).

The sky was supposed to be empty, but there's loads of these things. Do I worry about it invading my privacy? I'd be more concerned where it may fall and if it's heavy.

Sure these dots aren't just stars? Else it's the sun reflecting on the solar panels of the sattelites.

They don't have lights, they are just lit. Just like the moon, or the day side of the Earth. You're just seeing the sun reflected.
