Safe to update?

There was a lot of talk about the stable release breaking texture support. I never left the nightly build I had around that time. I just saw textures are being made for 2.0.2. Is it safe to update now or only newer texture mods properly supported by the latest stable version?

Facts. I dont think it was texture Packs or the pnach codes. Batman Rise of Sun Tzu was moving like it was PS3, no cap. Ima check other games to see if its the Update..and copy the version im on. 2.1.16 if it switches up XD

judging from my list of games i've up-scaled (around 12) only 1 has been changed too much for the texture pack to work, I don't know why that specific game got changed compared to all my other ones so there's a good chance most'll still work.
