hello ive some information about the PlayStation 4

The usually well-informed Taiwanese site Digitimes know us that the successor to the PlayStation 3, Sony's popular game console, will be released as early as 2012. The builders of the current PS3, Foxconn and Pegatron Technology, were already working to the Playstation 4. While Sony has not confirmed an anonymous source and Digitimes claims, it is associated with the launch of the Nintendo Wii, you do not unwise to move with a successor to come. How that will look like? A few designers let their creative minds to their heart and came up with the following concepts.

(ps the link is of a dutch site)

greetings alex_0706

It was in July 2011. Sony already mentioned it that PS3 is continue for other few years. PlayStation 4 is in the work and wont be ready for other few years.

Why would you want a glass-like controller anyway?

Even if it was real pics, doesn't make it final.

This.

I never had a single problem with any PS controller.

um, whats odd about this rumor is how Sony confirmed what like a year or two ago that they had just begun working on the development of their next console...so unless somethings changed between now and then this will be taken as a rumor...

Just to repeat what everyone else has said, this looks pretty fake to me. The mostly glass concept is pretty cool looking though. OLED screens may even make this possible.

There's a new Nintendo and Xbox in 2012, you gotta figure a new PlayStation too unless Sony is willing to risk being a year late again. I don't know where people get this impression that just because they don't own a current console the company isn't allowed to release the next one... PS2 was still selling pretty well when the PS3 released, and going back further we had games like FF9 release on PS1 when PS2 was already out. So I'm all for a PS4 in 2012, because it means it'll drop in price and I can get onboard that much quicker

I'm 99.9% sure that's not anybody's reason to believe this fake rumor is fake.

Nintendo is the only one releasing a new console in 2012 which is the Nintendo WiiU. Microsoft is not releasing a new console nor is Sony until 2013 or possibly even 2014.The pics posted are just fan drawn concepts.

For the time being, I'm calling fake on this one. Actually, BS, because Sony said that the ps3 still had like, what, 10 years left of life?
They said that they expect the ps3 to have a 10 year life span.

The ps3 came out in '06 (iirc), so that means the ps3 is just about half (being 5 years) way through it's expected life.

That won't last especially if Microsoft releases a console in 2014 lol.
