Rumor: Star Ocean 4 Coming to PS3?

As you can see, Gamefly has leaked the coming of Star Ocean 4 to the PS3. There has been no official confirmation yet, so all we have is that screenshot.

Very Interested in this, First i had my hopes up than i heard it was only coming out for xbox360.
But then read that the developers had no plans of ever releasing it on the PS3.
Hopefully this is true but i have high doubts.

I honestly doubt they'd do it. Star Ocean didn't get a lot of sales on the 360 which is why they said they wouldn't do it on the PS3 especially with its userbase. It's not going to get a lot of sales. Though I hope they do bring it over, another reason to save up money for a PS3 cause it will probably have more content just like Tales of Vesperia.

Too bad that Vesperia for the ps3 is most likely NOT to come to North America. Bring it over namco bandai, do it ;_;

I wish it would, as I've been greatly interested in playing Vesperia, (played it at a friend's house, and loved it) but being an owner of PS3, there hasn't been any excellent jrpgs, besides Valkyria Chronicles, which I really can't seem to get into so much yet.

Err, thats not a valid source anymore. If you look at the publishing date, it was published almost a year ago at TGS 08.

Does anyone know what the strongest element of SO4 is? Like story.. gameplay.. etc.
If it comes to the PS3, I'll probably ask my brother to get it. We're both good-plot, RPG fans. ;D

That being said, I loved the storyline in SO3! The gameplay was awesome too. ;D

Apparently it was an "error' on GameFly's part. But However, Square Enix wouldn’t comment on a PlayStation 3 version of Star Ocean: The Last Hope “at this time. GameFly also said they get information from the publishers before they put it up. Which means SE is probably lieing and they're not ready to announce it.
