True when i got my new3ds it was on 9.9,I tried to downgrade it to 9.2 cause I did it with my old3ds years ago so i had knowledge of what to do. When my new 3ds was downgrading i got the error that i need to restart my 3ds so i did and suddenly it was 9.2. I knew something was wrong cause i got a black screen trying to turn it on,so i took out my sd card it turned on and it said i was on 9.2. So i make sure to look on new 3ds version it said 9.2 no franken firmware or anything.But i realized that my new 3ds had a partial downgrade so i had no choice but to update to this firmware but i got the homebrew channel back thankfully because of basehax. But now i know that i'm going to have to wait a very long time again for a miracle to happen or something lol
