Hi all,

Doing a shell replacement and noticed that both my joycon rumble motors have an issue with the adhesive between it and the contact that connects it to the board being super weak.

Sadly, one detached completely and the adhesive is too dried to simply press it back on.

Is there a cheap adhesive to paste it back on, or should I just drop the $10 on eBay for a replacement?

Looking at shots of it all then it is a typical wire connector soldered onto a ribbon. Any adhesive in there is on the tape shielding from something shorting out (in which case tape will do fine) and to manage the ribbon a bit and keep it on the motor assembly mainly to keep it out of the way if the tape from the previous is not also putting double duty. For the ribbon to the case I probably would not use superglue but again a bit of tape folded in half or household double sided tape will likely do well here.

Thanks! Looking at it (and after testing out holding down the contact with electrical tape), it seems like the motor is just shot. Ordered an OEM part off eBay and I'll just have done with it.
