Hacking Rock band 2 question

My friends wii is updated to 3.4u and has played rockband 1 and 2, so it has the IOS needed for USB. If I downgrade to 3.2 and install cIOS, will the instruments still work with the official game disk? The updates on the disk will be blocked with starfall.

the downgrading doesn't delete any IOS off the system, so yes he'll still can play his games, the update in rockband2 is 3.1v4 according to WUM...!!!
