I have gamma and all the ios and wads installed, i wan't to install RiiskiiMod v2, do i have to install all the wads in the pack then, and can i use the preloader v26 instead with no problems?

If I install riskii whilst having a mod chip in....would the disc channel be lock it to PAL or would it be region free??

edit!!

Tried it....just get a black screen with ntsc-u on a pal system........ Gamma loads the game without changing region......

Is the only way to get it working through the disc channel by removing the chip??

What is this version=258(appear i preloader v0.26's hacks.ini) the japanese Wii?

It appears PL 0.26 with region free hacks breaks the setup with Riiski.
Possibly it counteracts with the region install from ARC.
Testing is done atm by Tanas (installing a fresh systemmenu and starting from there)

Possibly installing PL 0.26 (with region free hacks) and cioscorp will suffice to get the same results.

I'm taking the big step from ios249 + Gamma/softchip to Riiski. I have some question, just to be sure (I havent found the answers in the guide included in Riiski)

1) I'm on a 3.2E wii with cios36 rev7 (ios249) installed. Can I leave it on or I have to delete it? (cIOScorp install it, anyway?)
2) I'm using starfall Wii game Region Free patch and disk update block. I have to disable them (will they conflict with preloader?)? Can I leave the other option enabled (the last two to boot Zelda in case of brick)?
3) Should I wait v3 or can I use v2 without problem?

1) You can just leave it alone.
2) Disable/uninstall them before installing preloader and its hacks. Preloader has its own protection and the hacks are the same used in Starfall.
3) Use v2, v3 will problably just add some hacks to the hacks.ini and have the updated preloader (v0.26).


Also, just reporting: v0.26 worked just fine here (3.2U).
