Hacking retroarch doesn't load save states/freezes

I sometimes get this issue where I try to load the save state it just freezes retroarch and I have to restart. I ended up losing a lot of data today that way because it didn't save any of my data in game on the gameboy game I was playing.


Is this a common issue? is they're a way to fix this?

If you're using nightly releases it may be common, but today another update was out, give it a try and reply later please.
