Gaming Resident Evil Misprint casing on eBay for $104

It won't be worth anything unless collectors think this is worth while (which is doubtful because...). The whole first shipment is going to be huge, so they aren't as rare. I got a misspelled one too by the way.

If there were only a few of them it could possibly be worth something. With a very large number of them, it won't be worth much of anything, becaue collectable value is based on rarity.

A perfect example is Star Wars figures. When they came back out in the 90's after having not been out for around 10 years, lots of people bought them and stored them still in the packages since they thought they would be worth something later. Flashforward to now, and these same figures are dirt cheap because they made a lot of them and lot of people did this. The only reason the original figures from the 70's and 80's are worth money is because there aren't as many in good condition because kids treated them as ordinary toys.

Not too surprised, though, that someone's already cashing in on eBay. I just got my copy from Best Buy yesterday, and sure enough, it had the "Revelaitions" sleeve. Fine by me. Wouldn't sell it, though. It's too cool a novelty to part with.

The company is actually called Capcim, but made a typo.

But seriously, a bit steep a price for a box, especially one that's not even 1 year old

Seeing as you can still find the typo copy in stores, these people are getting taken for a ride.
It seems A LOT of bad prints got shipped to distributors as I see it sell out in a store, then see a new batch come in with the typo. Still cool to have though.

i recently got resident evil revelations but it seems all the misprinted cases were already replaced :/
