Gaming Resident Evil 4

Hi guys, does anyone know if a PAL (and real) Resident Evil 4 work on a japanese wii with wiikey?

Also, before i consider buying it, is it any good? coz its a port and all that...

yer should work fine, also if you have not played resi 4 before you will get a great fun out of it otherwise you will be amazed of the controls

Not sure if this applies only to PAL console but make sure you TV is in 60krtz before playing otherwise it will lock up.

yeah, in 50hz the screen flickers untill you select a file at the typewriter and freezes.

defo worth buying!! Best game on the wii.. The wii controls make it 100% better!!! Mmmm gotta love killing those zombies

i have a japanese wii tho, not a pal one, just to clarify.

also how comes it only works with 60 krtz? and how do i change setting to 60 krtz?

Dont worry about the 60hrtz thing. It only applies if you are in a PAL territory.

partly coz i want to avoid importing from different countries (pound kinda bad atm) and partly because of this link:

if u click on ntsc J i find that the PAL resident evil 4 works on a JAP wii.

However, it says it has been tested on a 2.2J wii (mine is 3.1J) and i dont know if ISOs means homebrew or real games.

any help appreciated

ISO is a disk image, the thing you burn. IOS is the wii's system software. Residnet Evil 4 was around before there were mandatory IOS requirements for the games.
If it says that the game plays on 2.2J formware. it WILL work on your console.
