Hacking [REQUESTS]Channels

I created a new app guys (well, adaptation of some other sources so I could learn

). It ejects the the disc in the drive (if any), then shuts down the Wii to "RED" standby.

I call it: "/Quit" -

The app it's self is done and tested. Now I'm building a Channel for it (it already works perfect in HBC).

I will post everything about it when I'm completely done. It will inlcude the following:
-app source (makefile + cppfile)
-HBC package (X:\apps\Slash-Quit\ --All Files --
-Channel (Banner+Logo+Icon-'sound')

I hope this will help anyone who was wanting such an app (I saw a few posts about it), plus it got me into producing my first release

Ok that'll be my 2nd coding project. Although you'll have to buy a Wii->Waffle accessory from me to support the project. hehe jk


All joking aside. I'm learning alot lately, so does anyone have any other requests for apps to do simple tasks that isn't already available? I need ideas for my 2nd coding project

I already modified eject DVD to poweroff after ejecting lol... here

It's not the wad's fault, it's the homebrew.
Most homebrew is designed to be launched from the HBC, so it includes the function to return to the homebrew channel.
When the homebrew tries to return, however it was instead launched by a wad, it cannot return and hence code dumps.
Try my wad or inject my dol into the existing channel (you can find various tutorials on how to do this here, it is easy)

Can someone please do me a favour and test this eject and power off (to standby) version? I'm not sure if i did it right

Sorry I'm just like DJ (i know less actually

) ATM i only did some simple modifications (like replacing return to loader code with poweroff or reboot) to the source and rebuilt the app. That was easy, but i haven't even atempted anything else, it seems daunting with no coding experience.

And making wads is easy now with wadder

I don't see why a mod should close this thread o.O According to the guy, he has no ongoing requests (source: 1st page) so if a person wants a channel then he could still request it right? Also, the thread's last post was a month ago...If it was 6 months ago I would agree with you hands down, but there is a chance that the OP still doesn't mind getting requests.

Going back to the topic, OP are you still active? I'm thinking about a couple channels and were wondering if you could make them happen for me. PM me if you're interested in making them.

i have a few that i have tried to make myself with customize me and all fail on exit with a stack dump. wad manager 1.6, and wiivnc if you can make these two work while exiting the channel that would be hugely appreciated
