Gaming Requesting No Encounter codes for Pokemon USUM working on Citra

I've been trying to use the No Encounter code (press Start to encounter):

However, while it does work on Folium, it doesn't work very well on Citra - it stops working after I press B to run, and every single encounter is deactivated.
Is there a way to fix it?
