Hammerwatch is a pretty cool game, especially on the Switch.

Dunno why almost noone is playing it.

However I'd be completely satisfied by being able to edit the money of my save. :P

Can you upload the savadata and how much money you have in game? I'd need it to find the offset.

There you go. It contains three saves with three different amounts of gold, each being like the subfolder is named (for example the save in the subfolder "360" has a gold amount of 360 and so on). Glad you're helping me. :)

Unfortunately I can't help you here. The savedata is encrypted. The savefile cannot be manipulated unless you can decrypt it.
But there is still the possibility, actively manipulate the values via write access to the RAM like cheat engine on PC.
These are the following tools:

1. https://gbatemp.net/threads/sys-netcheat-simple-open-source-cheat-engine.512512/ (Windows Terminal Tool - Connect to Switch with WLAN)
2. https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-edit-memory-and-change-in-game-values-nswitchdebugger.512335/ (A Hombrew-Tool)

If you need help with that, let me know.
Good luck:)

First of all, thanks for your time. :)
I'm aware of those two tools but was hoping I could avoid them and that an easy global solution for more Hammerwatch fans could be created. :P
But I guess I'll have to stick to sys-netcheat then.

As one last note:
Here is a save editor for the PC version of Hammerwatch -> https://github.com/joedf/HWSEdit
Although Switch saves are not compatible with the PC version (unfortunately) this might help decrypting the save?

Got it to work with sys-netcheat btw. Was as easy as cheat engine on PC. :)
