Replacing EMMC without NAND backup

Hi, I have an Erista model switch that the EMMC chip has died in.
I was only using OFW on this switch and have no NAND backup, but I would like to replace the EMMC chip and use CFW.
Is this possible?

Yes, but you will never be able to use Nintendo Online again.

This guide is still up to date imho. You need the Donor NANDs.
