Hacking Removing spring from GateWay RED card

Can anyone around here give me some instructions on how to remove the spring from the microSD Card slot of the RED GateWay card?

I've been having some issues lately. The card is always ejected, the spring doesn't click and fixes the card in place... Had to put some tape to make the microSD card stay in place...

Read around that removing the spring would be the best option.

I guess that you just have to unmount the cartridge and remove the spring. A part of the GW don't even have the spring and I doubt that change something inside so, just get rid of it.

I think that the spring is within the SD slot assembly... I don't know if you could actually remove it without ruining the slot.

Thanks for the replies. Fixed.
I removed the sticker from the SD slot side, and pressed hard with the nail in the spring. Then tried to insert/remove the SD card at the same time and the spring ended up going to the correct place after a few tries. It's working again.
