EDIT: Okay, I got it to work, but it seems to be crashing my PSP when ever I enter a loading screen. Only tried one game with this, though, so I dont know if its an isolated problem...but any help with that would be great as well.

What crash are you talking about? Do the psp simply shutdown? If so, have you tried plugging the cable after started the game AND after you loaded a save? You could also try to enable vblank active transfer in the options (to access options, right click the remotejoy screen). If all those options did not help, i have a patched remotejoy.dat that i found on the web i could share..
